Opening Strategy
2024.10.09
As a rookie adventurer, how can you grow efficiently in the game? We’ve prepared some speedrun strategies for the early stages to help you advance quickly and make the most progress in the shortest time possible.
Main Campaign Advancement
In EverChest, the fastest way to level up and increase your adventurer's power is by collecting EXP, Gold, and Equipment from Chests. Early on, Chests are primarily obtained through progressing in the Main Campaign. Therefore, we recommend focusing on advancing through the campaign to open Chests and rapidly boost your level and power. Additionally, the Main Campaign rewards valuable Mercenary Recruitment Tickets and Diamonds—use these resources strategically to continuously strengthen your team!
Skill Tree and Class Change
The Skill Tree becomes available once you reach Level 6. As you continue to level up, you can upgrade Skills and enhance Attributes within the Skill Tree, making your Class Skills even more powerful.
Adventurers start as Warriors in the game, and you can unlock the Sub-Class Ranger upon reaching Level 30. Different Main Character classes can be paired with various Companions to create diverse battle formations.
Companions and Formation
As you progress through the Main Campaign, you’ll unlock Companions by the end of Chapter 1 and can start adjusting their formations. In the early stages, it's best to use easily obtainable, high-quality Companions to quickly boost your power. As you advance, you can refine your strategy and focus on developing key Companions as needed. Below are some recommended team formations:
MC Class: Warrior
Formation 1: Warrior + Faye (AOE DPS) + Abyssal Harbinger (Split)
Formation 2: Warrior + Sun Wukong (Summon) + Abyssal Harbinger (Split)
Formation 3: Warrior + Bistot (Tank) + Ograhak (Magic Summon)
MC Class: Ranger
Formation 1: Ranger + Bistot (Tank) + Zarius (Physical DPS)
Formation 2: Ranger + Bistot (Tank) + K'aatalyn (Command)
Formation 3: Ranger + Shade of Sulanik (P.Area) + Ograhak (Magic Summon)
Back and Artifact
In the early game, both Back and Artifacts provide a significant boost to your adventurer's power. Back unlocks on Day 2 after clearing Main Campaign 6-20, while Artifacts unlock on Day 4 after completing Main Campaign 8-20.
Back enhances rare Base Attributes and combat Skills, while Artifacts offer valuable secondary and basic Attributes upon acquisition. The deployed Artifact Skills also play a crucial role in battles.
Exploration
After clearing Main Campaign Stage 2-8, various Exploration features for acquiring resources will gradually unlock as you progress. Below are the early-game Exploration modes and their respective resource outputs:
Boss Battle (Clear Main Campaign 2-8 to unlock): Rewards abundant Chests
Lost Treasures (Clear Main Campaign 2-20 to unlock): Reward bountiful Gold
Arena (Clear Main Campaign 3-8 to unlock): Rewards Tokens for purchasing Companion Upgrade Materials and Costumes
Tower of Doom (Unlocks on Day 2, After Main Campaign 6-20): Rewards Back Tokens and Back Upgrade Materials
Endless Dungeon (Unlocks on Day 4, After Main Campaign 8-20): Rewards Artifact Upgrade Materials
Greedy Dungeon (Unlocks on Day 5, After Main Campaign 10-20): Rewards a variety of materials and items
Territory
After clearing Main Campaign Stage 4-4, the Territory feature will be unlocked. The materials collected in your Territory can be used to synthesize Companion Upgrade Materials, forge Companion Equipment, and level up existing gear. For adventurers aiming to quickly enhance their Companions' abilities, regularly gathering resources from your Territory will provide you with the materials you need with ease.
Guild
For adventurers who enjoy teamwork, you can join a Guild on Day 2 once your Main Character reaches Lv.48 and connect with like-minded players! The Guild offers special features such as the Guild Boss and Abyss Expedition, along with a Guild Shop stocked with a variety of recruitment items, augmentation materials, and limited-edition Costumes. Stay active to maximize your benefits within the Guild!
Pet
On Day 10, after clearing Main Campaign 17-20, you’ll unlock the Pet feature and the associated Exploration mode, Floating Beastland. Deployed Pets will accompany adventurers in battle, while Floating Beastland offers materials for upgrading these charming Companions. As you progress through the game, these adorable allies will become powerful assets in your journey!
