Eternal War Strategy
2024.10.25
1.The World Map
The Eternal War introduces a world map featuring four Peripheral Zones and a Central Area. Guilds will be randomly placed in one of the four Peripheral Zones upon entry.
2.War Declaration Period
The Eternal War is divided into three daily periods.
War Declaration Period: Before 12:00 each day, Guild Presidents and Vice Presidents can declare war on nearby occupied buildings.
Rally Period: From 12:00 to 20:00 daily, guilds can rally against buildings targeted during the War Declaration Period. Multiple buildings can be rallied simultaneously.
Battle Period: From 20:00 to 21:00 each day, guilds can attack the buildings on which war has been declared.
3.Fortress Battle
In this season, multiple guilds can compete against each other for control of the central fortresses.
Attacking Buildings: Multiple Guilds can collaborate to attack the same fortress. The Guild President or Vice President must declare war on the building during the War Declaration Period before initiating an attack. Upon a successful attack, the Guild with the highest contribution gains control of the fortress.
Defending Buildings: The occupying Guild can rally its Members to defend the fortress, resisting attacks from rival Guilds.
Sequence: When multiple Guilds attack the same building, they appear in the order of rally times—the earlier a player joins the rally, the sooner they engage with the fortress's defenses.
4.City Defense Construction
Once a central state fortress is occupied, Guild Members can collaborate to strengthen its defenses.
By donating supplies, they can raise the fortress’s defense level, which grants a percentage bonus to the Guild's defensive forces. This enhanced defense helps the Guild better withstand attacks from rival Guilds.
5.Rally Announcement
The Guild President or Vice President can tap on each building to issue a rally announcement, directing Guild Members to assemble. This announcement is visible to all Guild Members.
6.Stronghold Management
Every Adventurer will have their own Stronghold in the Eternal War. The starter Stronghold will be generated automatically on the map. Later, you can relocate it to a strategic position by obtaining a Migration Decree and meeting certain conditions.
-
Nexus
Station companions, backs, artifacts, and pets in your Nexus. Their stats will contribute to your Military Power. Higher quality and level units enhance your Military Power!
Be sure to upgrade the Nexus with Stone to station more units. They will enhance your Military Power and allow you to dispatch more troops!
-
Supply
Produce supplies at the Supply Camp while idle to recruit more soldiers. Upgrade Supply Camps to increase production efficiency and storage capacity!
-
Barracks
The Stronghold barracks are divided into the Spearman Camp, Shieldman Camp, and Bowman Camp. Upgrading them boosts the Military Power and increases the Troop Power limit of each type.
-
Core Augment Tips
Augmentation is key to boosting Military Power and Troop Power. These are critical for excelling in battles and minimizing defeats. Troop deployment requires Troop Power, which consumes Supplies. Ensure you have enough Supplies to sustain your forces for more battles.
7.Combat
The Eternal War is filled with monsters, and defeating them requires strategic planning.
-
Dispatching Troops
Monsters of the Eternal War belong to different troop types. Dispatch countering troops for effective combat.
Counters: Spearman -> Shieldman -> Bowman -> Spearman. Basic counter effect: 5%. Each matching Companion deployed adds 5%, up to an impressive 20% with 3 Companions!
Against Monster Spearmen: Use Bowmen with three strong Undershadow Companions.
Against Monster Shieldmen: Use Spearmen with three strong The Union Companions.
Against Monster Bowmen: Use Shieldmen with three strong Roaring Legion Companions.
-
Map and Camps
Stronghold location affects your marching route. Relocate to optimal positions to save time. Unlock camps to access new areas and resources.
The map is divided into: Starting Areas (6), Resource Areas (3), and Central Area (1).
Adventurers interact with only 1 Starting Area, 1 Resource Area, and 1 Central Area. These areas are connected linearly: Starting Area > Resource Area > Central Area, linked by Camps.
Starting Area: Lv.1-8 Altars.
Resource Area: Lv.9-12 Altars.
Central Area: Lv.13 Altar + Lv.14 Final Dragon Altar.
Adventurers start in the Starting Area. After the Guild conquers Lv.1-8 Altars, the Outer Camp Trial is unlocked. Complete the group Camp Quest to relocate to the Resource Area. Relocating near each new altar will save marching time.
Likewise, in the Resource Area, the Inner Camp Trial is unlocked after the Guild conquers Lv.9-12 Altars. Complete the group Camp Quest to relocate to the Central Area.
Attack the Lv.13 Altar and prepare for the Lv.14 Final Dragon Altar on the last day. This marks the culmination of the season. The season lasts 28 days.
-
Monster Hunts
Eternal War monsters have 13 levels, each with increasing difficulty and 3 troop types. Monsters must be defeated sequentially. Conquer Lv.1 monsters before challenging Lv.2 monsters.
Use the Search function to locate monsters of the corresponding level on the map. Set up your team based on the counter relationship and attack when the indicator turns green for a higher rate.
Monster hunts consume Action Points, with 12 points available daily. Each hunt uses 1 point. Distribute points evenly, attacking each troop type at least 3 three times. Action points reset to the maximum at 0:00.
Rewards from monster hunts include Contribution, Magistone, Stone, Reserve Spears/Shields/Bows, and Supplies to upgrade your Stronghold.
-
Team Caves
Beyond wild monsters, the Eternal War features perilous Caves requiring teamwork. With 13 levels of increasing difficulty and 3 troop types per level, you must take on Caves sequentially from low to high, using counter troops for efficiency.
Use the Search function to find Caves of the corresponding level, then join or create a team. Once it's full or the countdown ends, the battle begins. If you can't find a team, create one. Invite friends or wait for others to join. You can also engage in other parts of the game while waiting.
Rewards from Team Caves include moderate amounts of Contribution, Magistone, Stone, Reserve Spears/Shields/Bows, Supplies, and Ever Coins to upgrade your Stronghold.
8.Rewards
The Eternal War is a treasure trove of resources and coveted rewards! For the free-spirited minnow Adventurers, it's your exclusive gateway to Special Costumes—don't miss out!
Contribution can be earned by participating in any War game mode. These points are crucial for ranking on the leaderboard!
